21st National Children’s Science Congress -2013.

A programme of the NCSTS Network organized by –Science for society, Bihar Since the year 2010 our students are participating every year for the National Children’s Science Congress with appreciate performance at the state level  In the year 2012. our school has been awarded as a best school of Aurangabad district.
In continuation, this year too our students participated for 21st National Children’s Science Congress 2013.
District Level
:–(Held on 19.10.2013)
Two teams under the leadership of Manish Kr. (IX-A) with members Ranjan Kr. (IX-B), Sant Kr. (IX-A), Sudhir Kr. (IX-A), Abhishek Kr.(IX-A) and, Pratul Kr.(IX-A) with members Sachin Srivastava (X-A), Neeraj Kr.(IX-A), Aditya Kr.(IX-C) , Devdutt Parihar (IX-A) joined District Level Children’s Science Congress under the supervision of Md. Shahid and Mr.Dasarath Vishwakarma. Both the teams qualified for the state level congress. Group of Manish Kr. (Hindi) declared 1st and group of Pratul Kr. (English) declared 2nd at district level.

Team of Pratul Kr.(IX-A) and Manish Kr. (IX-A) joined 21st National Children’s Science Congress 2013 at Purnia under supervision of Mr. Dasarath Vishwakarma.
Topic of Manish Kumar – Energy from waste.
Topic of Pratul Kumar – Assessment of Energy of a Hydel energy system.
Mr. Pratul Kr. got selected for the state level improvement stage as a state awardee which is scheduled to be held from 6th to 9th December at Patna. Master Pratul Kumar awarded with  certificate and Medal for his participation in 21st National Children’s Science Congress 2013.

2nd Junior Red Cross Athletics Meet, Quiz,
Modeling and Painting Competition 2013

Junior Red Cross Society Aurangabad organised Block Level and District Level Competitions in Athletics, Quiz, Modeling and Painting competition in the first week of September and 21st and 22nd Oct 2013 respectively, for selecting the participants for the State level 2nd Junior Red Cross Competitions.
Our Students participated in Block Level Competition in almost all the events and sixteen of the students qualified for District Level Competition.

In the District Level competition which was held on 21st and 22nd Oct 2013 at Aurangabad, two of the students Rachna Kumari (400 m race) and Shubham Kumar (200 & 400 m race) qualified for the State Level Athletics Meet.
The inaugural function of District Level Competition was also participated by our students by conducting a colourful March Past.

2nd Inter District Junior Red Cross (State Level) Athletics
Meet and Cultural Programme 23rd to 25th Nov 2013

The 2nd State Level (Inter District) Athletics meet and Cultural Programme was organised from 23rd Nov to 25th Nov 2013 under the aegis of Junior Red Cross at Aurangabad. The opening ceremony was completely shouldered by the students of Vivekanand Mission School, Daudnagar, (Aurangabad) with colourful “Jhanki” and Commendable March Past. The March Past included the students parade, parade by Scout and Guide unit of the school and each of the four Houses namely- Kanad, Kanva, Kautilya and Kutsa. These houses included under it’s house flags –Dandia, Chauhat dance, Lazium, Tribal dance, Dumble, Ribbon dance, Ring Dance, Dhol Singha and Rumpa respectively. The whole of the March Past was followed by lucrative band. The March Past comprised nearly 180 students. For looking after all these students a First Aid team of students comprising 5 members was present on the spot (List attached) In the evening the students of the School presented an enjoyable and marvelous cultural programme comprising welcome Song, Group Kathak- Durga Avtar, Rajasthani Dance, Kajari Dance, Solo Kathak, Folk Dance and Holi which was greatly appreciated by the dignitaries and viewers at large. The cultural programme was anchored by our four students namely-Mrigang Shekhar , Niranjan Kumar, Sadhna Kumari and Suruchi Kumari (List attached) The function was inaugurated by the commissioner Magadh Range _Mr. R.K Khandelwal and District Eduction Officer Cum  Chairman JRC , Mr. Rampravesh Singh.The District Magistrate Aurangabad Mr. Abhijeet Sinha &  the District Officials and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. In this State Level Athletic Meet two of our students namely- Rachna Kumari (400 m race) and Shubam Kumar (200 & 400 m race) participated. Rachna Kumari finished 2nd in her category.

GYAN TARANG SESSION III 2013-14

ATMODYA – An environmental awareness drive was launched on the  03rd July 2013 on the occasion of VAN MAHOSTAVA as a legacy. On the occasion our Honourable Director Dr. Shambhu Sharan Singh planted some saplings in the school campus in the presence of students and teachers as well as some of the dignitaries. Honourable Director reiterated the vision and approach of ATMODYA and emphasised its utility for the society. This drive included the visits of the students to different villages for training and aiming people regarding plantation of trees. Important villages visited/covered were Pilchhi, Sansa, Primary school Repura, Mamrejpur and others in the surrounding. The student members of Human Upliftment Council showed their keen interest. A month long drive concluded on 8th August 2013 on with the celebrations of Bihar Earth Day in which the school family taken the oath of GREEN EARTH CLEAN EARTH. The whole of the month the students were busy in different co-curricular activities like debate, essay writing, painting and quiz. Since years the school is organising Atmodaya or environmental awareness during month dedicated to Van Mahostava and Punyatithi of Swami Vivekanand (4th July).

INDEPENDANCE DAY CELEBRATION 2013

The Independence Day was celebrated in the school campus with great zeal, enthusiasm and ferver. To mark the occasion speech and Antakshari competition was organised in the school. The students participated in different events like games and sports, cultural programmes, painting competitions and one act play organised by sub divisional and district authorities. In all these events our students displayed excellent award winning performance.

TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION 2013-14

The birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapali Radhakrishnan, an eminent philosopher and educationist was celebrated collectively by the students and teachers on 5th September. The carnival assimilated with different academic competitions, friendly volleyball match between students and teachers and finally a colourful and melodious cultural programmes. The school family enjoyed the carnival for two days. On the eve of teacher’s day the entire academic admistration was in the hands of senior students and a team of teachers assessed their performance. Performers in all events were also assessed and suitably awarded at the end of the cultural programme.

GANDHI JAYANTI AND LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI JAYANTI CELEBRATION 2013

2nd October, a great day in the world of humankind was celebrated as Gandhi jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shashtr Jayanti in a plain, pious and devotional environment. Both of the great personalities were remembered by the school family with garlanding of portraits, devotional songs and spreading their ideals. The celebration included the speech and quiz competition. It is concluded with award ceremony and sweet distribution followed by a BHAJAN” Vaishnav Jana to tene kahiye, je peer parai Jane re”.

A REPORT ON REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 2013

Vivekanand Mission School,Daudnagar celebrated 64th Republic day with great Zeal and enthusiasm.Early in the morning at 08.45 AM National Flag was unfurled by Honourable Director Dr. Shambhu Sharan singh,Honourable Managaer sie,Principal,Administrator,Media Person Mr. Upendra Kashyap and all the teachers were present in the assembly ground. Founder Director Dr. Shambhu Sharan Singh gave a sound speech on this ocassion. He inspired the students to became a Well-Informed and responsible citizen of India.
At 10.30AM school team participated in ANNUMANDAL LEVEL Republic Day celebration organised in OLD ANNUMANDAL GROUND.Our school participated in JHANKI competition. We have a long history of /tradition of participation in JHANKI. Theme of JHANKI was “National Pride and Women Empowerement”. There were three parts of Jhanki.
(A) WOMEN EMPOWEREMENT:- This was represented by the great monk swami vivekanand,sister nivedita,Aruna Asif Ali,Smt. Indira Gandhi and Rani of Jhansi.
(B) This was represented by Indian Defence Force, In which there were eight- FAUZI.
(C) tHIRD PART OF THE jhanki WAS REPRESENTED BY THE PAKISTAN DEFENCE FORCE, In which there eight- PAKISTANI FAUZI.
Along with JHANKI there was a team of Legium, Dumble, Rampa, Dandia, Jhal,Bigule,Dram Party,March Past and soon.

Following the JHANKI there was an injured FAUZI,who was singing a song………….

In jhanki competition our school got “FIRST PRIZE.”

Children’s Day Celebration 2013

To mark the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru the first Prime Minister of India and known as the chief architect of modern India, Children’s Day celebrated on 14th Nov. 2013 with great enthusiasm. The celebration inaugurated by Honorable Director Dr. Shambhu Sharan Singh by garlanding the portrait of Pandit Nehru. Honourable Director in his blessings reiterated that the children are the blooming flowers of the society. They are the future of the nation and loving them shows one’s devotion towards nature and God.
On the occasion an exhibition of different artistic presentation in Philately, Numismatics Seed and Petal collection organized. A quite considerable number of students participated in the Exhibition based on the above activities and were assessed by a team of experts. WORKSHOP ON ENGLISH

08/12/2013

Vivekanand Mission School in collaboration with Encyclopedia Britannica Pvt. Ltd. Organised a workshop on English Language at Ramkrishna Paramhans Library on 08/12/2012. Mr. Shailesh war Sati Prasad, emeritus professor of Patna University and known writer and critic of English Literature was the resource person.
The workshop was jointly inaugurated by Dr. Shambhu Sharan Singh Honourable Director of the Institution and Dr. S.S. Prasad. Honourable Director in his welcome speech highlighted the motto of education and reiterated that education must be accompanied by culture. He told that society needs such teachers who can impart education with knowledge and reason.
The Resource person trained nearly 100 teachers the art of English literature teaching. He stressed upon the English language with a plea that in modern times English has became a core language in every field of life.

 

GYAN TARANG SESSION III

2013-14

ATMODYA: – An environmental awareness drive was launched on 03 July 2013 on the occasion of VAN MAHOSTAVA as a legacy. On the occasion our honourable director Dr. Shambhu Sharan Singh planted some saplings in the school campus, in the presence of students and teachers as well as some of the dignitaries. Honourable director reiterated the vision and approach of ATMODYA and emphasised its utility for the society.

This drive included the visits of the students to different villages for training and aiming people regarding plantation of trees. Important villages visited/covered were Pilchhi, Sansa, Primary school Repura, Mamrejpur and others in the surrounding.

The students’ members of Human Upliftment Council showed their keen interest. A month long drive concluded on 8th August 2013 on with the celebrations of Bihar Earth Day in which the school family taken the oath of GREEN EARTH CLEAN EARTH.

The whole of the month the students were busy in different co-curricular activities like debate, easy writing, painting and quiz.

Since years the school is organising Atmodaya or environmental awareness during month dedicated to Van Mahostava and Punyatithi of Swami Vivekanand (4th July).

 

 

INDEPENDANCE DAY CELEBRATION 2013

The Independence Day was celebrated in the school campus with great zeal, enthusiasm and ferver. To mark the occasion speech and Antakshari competition was organised in the school. The students participated in different events like games and sports, cultural programmes, painting competitions and one act play organised by sub divisional and district authorities. In all these events our students displayed excellent award winning performance.

 

 

 

TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION 2013-14

The birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapali Radhakrishnan, an eminent philosopher and educationist was celebrated collectively by the students and teachers on 5th September. The carnival assimilated with different academic competitions, friendly volleyball match between students and teachers and finally a colourful and melodious cultural programmes. The school family enjoyed the carnival for two days. On the eve of teacher’s day the entire academic admistration was in the hands of senior students and a team of teachers assessed their performance. Performers in all events were also assessed and suitably awarded at the end of the cultural programme.

 

 

GANDHI JAYANTI AND LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI JAYANTI CELEBRATION 2013

 

2nd October, a great day in the world of humankind was celebrated as Gandhi jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shashtri in a plain, pious and devotional environment. Both of the great personalities were remembered by the school family with garlanding of portraits, devotional songs and spreading their ideals. The celebration included the speech and quiz competition. It is concluded with award ceremony and sweet distribution followed by a BAHIJAN” Vaishnav Jana to tene kahiye, je peer parai Jane re”.
